New Trier Township High School District 203 is a public high school district located on the North Shore of the Chicago metropolitan area in Winnetka, Illinois and Northfield, Illinois. The district operates New Trier High School, a comprehensive four-year public high school that serves students in grades 9–12 from nearby communities including Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Kenilworth, and Northfield, as well as parts of Glenview and Northbrook. Founded in 1901, the district has grown into one of the largest and most academically recognized high school systems in Illinois.

New Trier District 203 enrolls roughly 3,700 students and uses a two-campus system: freshmen attend the Northfield Campus, while sophomores, juniors, and seniors attend the larger Winnetka Campus. The district emphasizes strong academics, extracurricular involvement, and community service, reflected in its motto: “To commit minds to inquiry, hearts to compassion, and lives to the service of humanity.” Students can participate in more than 150 clubs, activities, athletics, and arts programs, giving them many opportunities beyond the classroom.
